HOW TO DEACTIVATE FACEBOOK TIMELINE

Recently Facebook has launched a new service “Timeline” for Facebook users. Well this service does not hit the network. Mostly people does not like this timeline service. They likes their own theme of their profile. On some profiles, timeline is automatically activated by Facebook but only on some randomly selected profiles.

I have a solution for those who are sick of this timeline service. I will show you how to deactivate Facebook timeline from your Facebook profile.

Steps for Chrome Users -

Step 1 -

Boot your PC and right click on Chrome.exe and click on properties.

Step 2 -

Now paste the following code after this – “C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe”

–user-agent=”Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0)”
Remember you must leave one space before placing this code. Another thing is that this trick will work with windows 7 PC.

Step 3 -

 Now close your web browser and login again. You will be back on your old profile view.

For Internet Explorer Users -

Step 1 -

Open Internet Explorer and login to your Facebook profile and open your Profile page.

Step 2 -

Now press ALT key and open Compatibility View settings from Tools option.

Now in the field, if Facebook is already written in the box then its ok, Other wise click on Add button and type facebook.com

Now close your browser and reopen it. Enjoy your old profile view.
